The Quasar technology is covered by U.S.P.T.O. patent application number US2005/0214833A1. Products incorporating the BHQ or Quasar dye moiety are sold exclusively for R&D use by the end user. 2'-TC Monomers:
Applicable to end user customers either directly or through distributors: This product is manufactured and sold under a license from Agilent Technologies under pending U.S. Patent App. Nos. 12/118,655, 61/099,131, PCT/US08/63342 and corresponding foreign counterparts. The purchase of this product conveys to the buyer the limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right (without the right to resell, repackage, or further sublicense) under these patents to use the product to synthesize oligonucleotides for buyer's internal research use only, including commercial purposes. Except as otherwise provided herein, no other license is granted to the buyer whether expressly, by implication, by estoppel or otherwise. Buyer agrees and understands that it is not licensed to use this product to synthesize oligonucleotides for sale, for diagnostic uses including use in a clinical diagnostic setting where the use in conjunction with an individual's sample generates data provided to an individual or the individual's caregiver for a fee or reimbursement, neither can oligonucleotides synthesized using this product be used for use clinical trials or for other therapeutic purposes. This product is sold pursuant to authorization from Agilent Technologies, Inc. and Agilent Technologies reserves all other rights under these patents.
Applicable where the purchaser is required to have its own direct license from Agilent, without limitation (Bulk Quantity Sales, and sales to Oligo Houses): This product and its uses are covered by pending U.S. Patent App. Nos. 12/118,655, 61/099,131, PCT/US08/63342 and corresponding foreign counterparts assigned to Agilent Technologies. This product is sold to purchaser pursuant to authorization by Agilent Technologies, Inc. without any rights conferred by seller, based on purchaser's direct license and authorization to purchase from Agilent Technologies, Inc. No license is granted to the purchaser whether expressly, by implication, by estoppel or otherwise on account of this purchase. Purchaser's rights to use this product are governed solely and expressly by purchaser's direct license agreement with Agilent.
UNA
UNA oligonucleotide reagents are protected by patent applications owned by Marina Biotech, Inc. (www.marinabio.com) and which, within the reagents field, have been exclusively licensed to RiboTask ApS (www.ribotask.com) with the opportunity of further sublicensing. A license from RiboTask ApS enables Link Technologies Ltd to provide to customers UNA phosphoramidite monomer reagents for use in oligonucleotides for research uses only. The products in their original or any modified form may be used only for the customer's internal research purposes and not for commercial, diagnostic, clinical, therapeutic, or other use, including use in humans. The purchase of products does not include or carry an implied right or license for the buyer to use such products in their original or any modified form for commercial use. Customers may not distribute or provide the products in their original or any modified form to any third party.
