Ordering via the website
Simply add to your basket as you browse our products. Repeat customers should log-in first in order to view any agreed discounts. New customers will have the opportunity to register their details prior to confirming their order.
At the point of order you have two options:
- Click the orange "Send Order" button to send your order directly to us; or
- If your purchasing system does not permit online ordering, or if you prefer to fax your order, then underneath the basket you will find a "click on this link to print it" hyperlink. Click on this then print your order to fax to us or to pass to your purchasing department.

When using any of these methods, please ensure that you provide us with the following information:
- Customer number (if known)
- Contact name and telephone number
- An e-mail address (or addresses) for the Order Confirmation and Shipment Notification to be sent to
- Purchase order number
- Invoice and Delivery Addresses
- Catalogue numbers and product descriptions
- Order quantity and unit size of products
Confirmation of orders
Orders will be confirmed by e-mail upon receipt giving an estimated delivery date where possible. Orders placed via the website will in addition receive an auto-generated confirmation e-mail. Please advise us immediately if there are any discrepancies.
Shipping, payment and pricing
Stock items will generally be shipped within 24 hours of receipt of order for next-day delivery (except where perishable products or hazardous products require alternative shipping arrangements). Where products are not in stock, customers will be advised within 24 hours of anticipated delivery dates. To guarantee next-day delivery for stock items, orders must be placed by 14:00 (UK Time). Orders received after this time may be shipped for next-day delivery by special arrangement, however may incur additional cost. Specially arranged deliveries (e.g. AM delivery) will incur an additional charge.
Prices are listed in pounds Sterling and Euros, and exclude VAT or duty. Prices advertised are correct at the time of publishing, however we reserve the right to amend these. Prices will, however, be confirmed on ordering. Quotes in other currencies (e.g. US Dollars) can be provided upron request.
Academic customers will receive an automatic 10% discount on our list prices. This discount does not affect any previously agreed discounts with customers and will be applied at the point of invoice.
Payment terms are 30 days and should be made in the currency of the invoice only.
Carriage costs
Carriage costs are summarised in the table below. Due to carrier restrictions and legal requirements a higher shipment cost is incurred on shipments of hazardous products. Please note the vast majority of our products are classed as non-hazardous, however all solvents and liquid reagents do fall under this category. Hazardous products are noted as such on the website and identified with an asterisk (*) in the Product List.

1. Hazardous shipments to Northern Ireland are charged at £75 and sent by a non-guaranteed delivery service. Delivery is typically up to 2 weeks. |

Hazardous shipments to the following countries are sent by a guaranteed delivery service (3-5 days): Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Republic of Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland and Norway (cost is typically €50-63 (€93 for Switzerland and Norway) for shipments up to 20kgs). Outwith these countries in Europe (including Poland) both delivery method and cost of shipping hazardous goods will be confirmed upon receipt of order. |

Additional Information for US Customers
Please note that, due to licensing restrictions, some of our products are not available to be sold in the US. We can confirm this on order and for such items we would recommend that customers in the US contact Glen Research Corp. Many products, however, are available in the US from us, including: PNA Monomers, EDITH (pending licence), SynBase™ CPG Solid Supports, OligoPrep™ PVA Supports, Formylindole Modifier, Carboxylate Modifier, 3'-Cholesterol SynBase™ CPG, 5'-Cholesterol-CE Phosphoramidite, 3'-Palmitate SynBase™ CPG, and Thioctic Acid NHS Ester.
