Alternative catalysis of OPeC™ conjugations
A discussion with one of our customers regarding our OPeC™ technology included the possible use of mercaptophenyl acetic acid (MPAA) instead of benzyl mercaptan as the native ligation catalyst. This was prompted by the literature work of Johnson and Kent [1]. Favourable results have been obtained in their OPeC™ conjugations using MPAA, therefore we have updated our information, Oligonucleotide-Peptide Conjugations using OPeC™ Reagents, to include reference to this.
